Main colours

Simple 3 main colors work strongly for Velvet branding and should be used in all the main Velvet themes.
Choose these colors in different ratios, but note that yellow must be in the viewer’s mind all the time, even if there are black-and-white views in between.
Avoid white text and small details on yellow background and vice versa for accessabilitiy.

Secondary colours

Use secondary colours to give your messages a systematic sense. You also might need to just alter the visual to shake up the attention, but don’t brake the clarity of the system by doing that at the same.

As a slides background for clear system, use only one secondary colour at the time and avoid adding the yellow.

As for infographics on white or black background use as many secondary and main colors as you need, less is always a lot better.
